How much will it cost you to bring a smile to someone's face today? Nothing but a little effort on your part. Some people are so bogged down with personal problems and or illness, that they could use a little happiness in their day. I say day, cause maybe you will only see them this one time, so you have only this opportunity to share some joy with them.
Sometimes a simple gesture is all that is required. How about holding the door open for someone and wishing them a nice day? How about offering to help a blind person across the street? How about giving up your seat on the bus or train to someone else? Simple things that could mean a world of difference in someone's life. You may never know how you change that persons entire day. That is the fun part. You do it because you want to, not because you are expecting or waiting to be acknowledged for your deed. The more you do these things the easier it becomes. You will naturally smile at someone that meets you eye to eye, instead of saying, ''What are you looking at". You will start to feel happier in your own life. It takes too much energy to be mad or upset all of the time. Wehn you change your attitude to a positive one, you will find that even negative people won't bring you down.
Be happy and share your happiness, it will make you a better person and you just might make someone's day!
